Today in class.
To day in class we learned the vocabulary on page 148 and 149 of the text book. La pirámide nutritiva "The nutrition pyramid" Please review the vocabulary using your on line text book pages 148 and 149. We also studied the verb hacer which is an irregular verb, however it is not as irregular as the verb SER. Hacer means to do or to make in English. Here are it's conjuguations!
Hacer: to do or to make
Yo hago Nosotros hacemos
tú haces Vosotros hacéis
Ud. hace Uds. hacen
él. hace Ellos hacen
ellla hace Ellas hacen
Notice how the Yo form of the the verb hacer has a g in it's conjugation. We still have the O ending but the G is irregular. Many times Spanish teachers will call this verb a YO GO verb, because there is a G in the spelling that makes the pronunciation irregular. Also, notice how the rest of the conjugations follow a regular conjugation. Instead of Yo haco the correct conjugation is Yo hago

We also studied the verb Tener which means to have in English:

The Verb tener is an irregular verb much like the verb hacer. Both hacer and tener have an irregular g in the Yo form, hago and tengo. The verb tener has a second irregularity. It's a e-ie stem changer. The infinitive changes from e-ie
