Today in Class: 3/6/08
Today was a shortened class period because of CSAP testing. We reviewed the present tense forms of the verb ser, tener, hacer, and preferir. To be, to have, to do/make, to prefer.All these verbs are irregular in some way. I gave each student a copy of some important notes to help them learn and memorize irregular verbs. We can group the irregular verbs into irregular verb families. Please follow the link below to find the notes that were given today in class!

The Irregular Verbs
These verbs are called irregular because they have some change that
prevents them from following the rules that the regular verbs follow.

Group 1 - Stem-changing verbs.
E-IE - Verbs that change the E in their stem to IE in all forms except
nosotros/vosotros

Querer - to want
Quer - the stem
Yo quiero Nosotros queremos
Tú quieres Vosotros queréis
Él quiere Ellos quieren
Ella quiere Ellas quieren
Ud. quiere Uds. quieren
